Anyway... this one I was in something of an abstract mood. And blue. I made this one near my late dog's birthday so I matched his eye color for the blue. Yeah.... I still miss him.

Just too funny....
I wish I could find the rhyme or reason behind why blogger posts pictures in any order it wants to. I had them selected for upload in the order that I wanted them to be on the page. I could understand if it was in reverse order but they were totally scrambled when I finished the upload. The first one was third and the last one was first.....eesh!

Again I used templates and stencils to make the white space on the page. It can be for pictures or for writing or for doodling....whatever. Then there is the white parchment between each painted page.
I'm having a lot of fun with these old board books. Especially since I gave up trying to peel the old surface off of them and just started sanding and gessoing the critters. Much easier to do and much faster!
The parchment between each board page came about as I discovered that even flat acrylic paint will stick the pages together. Darn it! So I added some fancy edged parchment that I had sitting in a box, all lonely and unused, practically crying out "use me!" It's all used up now. All I have left are the envelopes. I'm sure another project will come to me for the envelopes. lol
And rather than post every single page of the book I'll just cut to my favorite two pages.
I think I might have to do a bit of digital scrapping for the other books I have to show off. Blogger's picture scrambling is a bit annoying and I spend half of my time re-arranging the photos. And honestly, the pictures are the main thing and you want them in order with their descriptions, right? lol
