Happy New Year!!!

OK so I'm a bit late. Those who know me personally know that there's absolutely NOTHING new about that! LOL Did I manage to get my Christmas cards out on time this year. NOPE! I didn't get them out at all except for an email card I made. I can be such a slug sometimes.

This Christmas didn't come off quite as well as I had hoped but DD had a great time of it. She was perfectly giggly about everything she got. Especially the Tinkerbell movie that is her very first DVD that is completely hers. Have you seen the movie yet? It's FANTASTIC! Tinkerbell is an engineer! REALLY! She figures things out and builds stuff to fix the problems. It's a great movie for little girls that shows them that you can be cute, frilly, and girly and still build stuff! I LOVE IT! And the effects are already showing on DD. She's starting to work out problems a little bit faster than before and she loves it when we point out to her that she's tinkering. LOL YAY for a smart girl's movie! I just LOVE Disney!

My head is feeling a little bit better though I had to get a change of antibiotics to fight this sinus infection. I was given this "atom bomb" of an antibiotic and I developed the rare side effect that can lead to a tendon rupture. Lovely! So I got switched today and I get to start a new course tomorrow morning. Wish me luck!

Over the past week I got to work on DH's laptop while the troop from SuperMomScraps was visiting. They like to play World of Warcraft and they have a blast at it but I am the only one without a computer downstairs so I'd either be a little bored with nothing to do or I'd be upstairs creating but all on my own. DH managed to get the trial version of PSP on his laptop and the drivers for my Wacom installed and I was happily doodling away and laughing it up with the crew for the past five days. All of the practice doodles paid off, too!

I have more quilts!

Of course DH had to fix my computer upstairs so that I could get the post out to you. Nothing seems to come easy around here where my computer is concerned. LOL I am going to get my upgrades soon and then my processing speed won't be quite so...painful.

Well, I'll get to this so I can go play downstairs some more. I still have 25 days left to doodle in the same room as DH so I'm going to take advantage of it.
