I've got riveting blog titles haven't I? LOL I guess it's just the short, sweet and to the point part of me. I've always been that way. I don't do well with small talk. To me the conversation either means something or it doesn't. And if it is meaningless talk for the sake of talking....I usually go off and start crafting something. I have an incredible distaste for unproductive time. I can't tell you how often I've wished that I didn't have to indulge in the need for sleep. So many times I am busy doing something and I don't want to stop except that I happen to be falling asleep with a razor knife in my hand. It is generally a BAD idea to keep cutting with an exacto knife when you can't see what you are doing. LOL
DD and I are decorating containers for our Christmas cookies. I am busy making all sorts of cookies so that I can use up the oatmeal and then decorate the empty oatmeal boxes that will hold the cookies for giving away. I also found two stacks of unused take out boxes (the kind you get from Chinese take out places) that are ready to be covered in paper and decorated with Christmas stuff. We've decided to go pastel for some of our boxes this year. Not only is it looking really cute with all of these triangle trees in pink dotted papers, but the colors are holding DD's interest longer than the muted reds and greens that are my normal preference. So for this year SHE is stretching my imagination! How cool is that?
Anyway, these last few quickpages are inspired by the scraps that DD and I are putting together to decorate our boxes. On the quickpages I can do things using MY colors! LOL Maybe I'll do some using DD's colors. These pink and green trees really are cute. LOL
So here's the preview for today's quickpage:
