I've been practicing!

I took our worksheets for DD's Chinese class with us while we were away so I could practice writing in Chinese. I think I'm getting pretty good. I decided to try writing with the art media tools and it came out pretty good. I'm still trying to find the right angle for the brush so more practice is in store for me.
The examples I looked at were from Obsidian Dawn. I printed them off and asked the teacher if the meanings and the writing were both accurate. She corrected the lines on a couple of them and confirmed their meaning so we're good to go.
My next ones will be the words from our class which, believe it or not, are WAY harder than these that I have here tonight. I have the writing for "panda", "zebra", "horse", "cat", "frog", and "squirrel". They're almost done but again I want to check with the teacher before I release them. I don't want anyone to get in trouble if it looks like a really wrong word on their layouts. That would be bad.

I used the black versions of the letters that I made to cut out the characters from my vintage papers and they look wonderful! Well, I think so. I guess I'll know what you think soon enough.

I want to get back to practicing on paper so I'll get right to the freebie.

Here's the preview:
