For all of today's heroes

Let us not forget who it is that protect and save us from the barbarians who have risen up from their sewers to attack us.

Let us not forget that it is they who swear to protect and defend us at the cost of their own lives.

Let us not forget that there is evil in this world that would joyously destroy us if we did not have our own true heroes to fight the evil.

Let us give thanks that there are still such brave men and women who are willing to make the sacrifice to take up arms against those who seek to destroy us.

At the Labor Day parade there was a line up of Marines marching with flags. My 4 year old daughter pointed to them and said out loud "They protect us from the bad guys" . Wouldn't it be wonderful if our politicians had the wisdom of a 4 year old child to recognise just how important those brave men and women are?
I am thankful and awestruck that such bravery lives today and today I show my appreciation the only way I have. In my art. Thank you for protecting my family and keeping this country safe and free from the barbarians. Thank you.
